ANNOUNCING | The Brevard Music Center Residency Prize

Concert Artists Guild is thrilled to announce a new prize-partnership with Brevard Music Center. The Brevard Music Center Residency Prize will be awarded to a single winner from the annual CAG competition. We are pleased to announce Jordan Bak, violist and winner of the 2019 CAG competition, as the inaugural recipient of the Brevard Music Center Residency Prize. As the recipient, Jordan will be visiting during the summer of 2021 to perform a concerto with orchestra, a chamber music recital and to offer an extended educational residency at the Brevard Music Center. Performances will take place in the new Parker Concert Hall, which will be open to the public for the first time in summer of 2020.

Coming in 2020: BMC’s New Lakeside Performance and Multi-Purpose Event Space. Next summer, Brevard Music Center proudly unveils a breathtaking new lakeside structure—its first major construction project in more than 50 years. Overlooking scenic Lake Milner and designed by Platt Architecture PA, the $6 million Parker Concert Hall will become BMC’s first-ever year-round performance venue and the first multi-purpose event space built since 1964’s Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium.
