Lincoln Center for Holiday Brandenburgs

Trumpeter Brandon Ridenour joins the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center once again to perform J. S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 as part of LCCMS’s annual holiday season presentation of all six Brandenburg Concertos. Performances in NYC are on Dec 15, 17 and 19, with a Princeton concert on Dec 18. You can also catch the same program in Athens, GA on Dec 13 and Chicago, IL on Dec 20!

CAG’s Artist of the Month! Get to know more about Calmus!

CAG’s alumni vocal ensemble Calmus is back for their biennial holiday tour around the United States. This German a cappella quintet will trade in their home country’s famous Christmas markets for performances in Michigian on the Hart Community Performing Arts Series, St. Paul, Minnesota for the Schubert Club’s Music in the Park Series, Missouri for Joplin Pro Musica, North Carolina with the Tryon Concert Association, and upstate New York on the Pawling Concert Series. The culmination of the tour will be the group’s return to Lincoln Center on Sunday, December 17 as part of the Great Performers’ Coffee Concerts series.

Calmus’s charming program is called Christmas A Cappellaencompassing music from the 14th Century through today, including traditional carols from France, Germany, Sweden, Canada and England, plus American popular yuletide songs. Don’t miss the chance to see them live this Holiday season!
