Guitarist Jiji makes recital debut at Weill Hall

Jiji will become the first female Korean guitarist to perform solo at Carnegie Hall when she makes her Weill Recital Hall debut onFebruary 13! Her concert will feature works by Steve Reich, J. S. Bach, Ginastera, and Leo Brouwer, as well as the premiere of a new work for electric guitar by Icelandic guitarist and composer Gulli Björnsson.

PUBLIQuartet presents a new program, entitledFreedom and Faith, faturing works by a diverse body of composers, including Jessie Montgomery, Meredith Monk, and Caroline Shaw, as well as the world premiere of a PUBLIQ Access/Washington Performing Arts co-commission by composer Jessica Meyer.
