The Verona Quartet is this year’s Ensemble-in-Residence at the Chelsea Music Festival. Performances include an all-Beethoven evening on June 10TH  and their own featured concert on June 16TH , including quartets of Ravel and Beethoven (Op. 131) and the world premiere of a new piece by Sebastian Currier.

PUBLIQuartet collaborate with L.A. Dance Project at The Joyce

get to know more about In Mo Yang

21-year-old violinist In Mo Yang has enjoyed a busy season of performances, including as a soloist with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic, the Seoul Philharmonic, the Fairfax Symphony, the DuPage Symphony in Illinois, and the Dream Orchestra of Los Angeles. This month he will give a recital with pianist Thomas Hoppe at the Dresden Music Festival on June 7, including works by J.S. Bach, Janáček, Milstein, Paganini, and Szymanowski. Later in the month he joins the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Maestro Benjamin Zander for their tour of South America, performing the Sibelius Violin Concerto in Lima, Peru on June 19; Rosario and Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 22 and 24; and Montevideo, Uruguay on June 26.

Besides performances in Switzerland and Greece, In Mo plans to spend some time at home with his family in Korea over the summer before returning for his concerto debut at the Ravinia Festival on August 22, performing Bruch’s Violin Concerto with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra under James Gaffigan.
