Brasil Guitar Duo performs at the New York Classical Guitar Society

The Brasil Guitar Duo perform as as part of the New York Classical Guitar Society’s International Artist Series, including works from their recent CAG Records release, Ghosting, as well as the world premiere of Still, which was written for the Duo by American composer and guitarist Frederic Hand.

Pianist Ko-Eun Yi performs two solo recitals in the greater Los Angeles area, featuring her program “The Glory”, which shows the role of faith and religion in the music of piano composers. Works include Messiaen‘s Twenty Ways of Looking at the Infant Jesus and Liszt’s Poetic and Religious Harmonies.

CAG’s Artist of the Month…get to know more about

PUBLIQuartet makes its debut out west this month for a series of concerts in Wyoming and Colorado! The ensemble begins this tour with a performance at Colorado State University, presented by The Lincoln Center of Fort Collins, on Tuesday, October 24. Following that, the group heads to Casper, Wyoming for a performance presented by the Wyoming Symphony on Wednesday, October 25. On Friday, October 27, PQ performs at the CAM-PLEX Heritage Center Theater in Gillette, WY, and they finish up in Sheridan, WY with a performance of Monk at 100, celebrating Thelonious Monk, at the Whitney Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 28.

All stops on the tour will also include workshops and activities with local music students.
