Two exciting auction items for CAG’s Rite of Spring Gala!

At CAG’s gala on Monday, May 13, you have the chance to experience beautiful music in two unique settings – surrounded by the mythic history of Ancient Greece, or in your own home or choice of community venue!

A Musical Journey to the Land of the Gods

Enjoy a nine-night stay for 2 people in Thessaly, a beautiful region of Greece undiscovered by tourists. Experience its mythical history and monuments, as well as concerts of superb chamber music led by artistic director Lowell Liebermann.

Special experiences include sailing off the Aegean Sea coast, wine tasting and a visit to the foothills of Mt Olympus, an excursion to an excavated Neolithic village, and museum visits.

Guests will also enjoy the company of renowned musicians, including violinists Ida Kavafian (Curtis Institute of Music, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center) and Daniel Phillips (Orion String Quartet).

A CAG musician of your choice will give a private concert in your home or a venue of choice in your community. Afterwards the musicians will join you for a reception or dinner…it’s up to you!

Enjoy the diverse range of artists CAG has to offer – from traditional string quartets to soloists on clarinet, trumpet, piano, guitar, double bass, percussion, and violin!
