Guitarist Jiji is an adventurous artist on both acoustic and electric guitar, playing an extensive range of music from traditional and contemporary classical music to free improvisation. Her impeccable musicianship combined with compelling stage presence and fascinating repertoire earned her First Prize at the 2016 CAG Competition.

Versatile double bassist Sam Suggs was named Concert Artists Guild’s New Music/New Places Fellow at the 2016 CAG Competition. As a performer-composer, Sam is committed to expanding the literature of the double bass canon, often combining performances of classic works with his own compositions and reworkings.

*Commissioned by CAG with the generous support of the Adele and John Gray Endowment Fund

The first solo clarinetist to win CAG in nearly 30 years, Yoonah Kim became the first woman to win first prize at the Vandoren Emerging Artist Competition in 2016. She is also a member of Ensemble Connect, a highly selective two-year fellowship program under the joint auspices of Carnegie Hall, The Weill Institute, and The Juilliard School.
