19-year-old pianist Daniel Hsu was the First Prize Winner of the 2015 CAG Competition, and he was honored as a Gilmore Young Artist for 2016, including performances last spring at the prestigious Gilmore International Keyboard Festival. He has also earned top prizes in numerous other competitions, most recently the Bronze medal at the 9th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan. Daniel has recently been invited as one of 30 competitors to the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, which will take place from May 25 to June 10 in Fort Worth, Texas. He presents his New York Debut recital in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
