CAG welcomes current alumni artists the Brasil Guitar Duo (a 2006 Competition winner), who will combine with members of the Enso String Quartetpianist Tanya Bannister (both 2003 winners), and flutist Christina Jennings (a 2001 winner) in a mixed program of classic and new works, including Fauré’s Piano Quartet No. 1 in C minor, Op. 15 and works for flute and two guitars by the Brasil Guitar Duo’s members, Douglas Lora and João Luiz.

Guitarist Jiji is an adventurous artist on both acoustic and electric guitar, playing an extensive range of music from traditional and contemporary classical music to free improvisation. Her impeccable musicianship combined with compelling stage presence and fascinating repertoire earned her First Prize at the 2016 CAG Competition.
