In memory of William Reid Pitts, Jr., M.D.

Applauded by The Strad for her “fiery virtuosity” and “consummate performances,” violinist YooJin Jang is a winner of the 2017 CAG Competition, and is also First Prize winner of the 2016 Sendai International Music Competition in Japan. YooJin’s 18-19 season includes concerto debuts at New York’s Chautauqua Institution and in Japan with the Osaka Symphony Orchestra.

First Prize Winner, 2018 CAG Comeptition

Chinese pianist Yi-Nuo Wang was selected as first prize winner of the 2018 CAG Competition, which is just the latest in a series of impressive first-prize performances, along with the 2017 Wideman International Piano Competition in Louisiana.

Quartet Extravaganza!

Featuring the Aizuri and Argus Quartets and Kim Kashkashian, viola

CAG partners with Music for Food, a musician-led initiative for local hunger relief, for this concert, which will raise resources and awareness in the fight against hunger. Featuring Mozart’s Viola Quintet in E-flat Major, K. 614, Garth Knox’s Satellites, and Mendelssohn’s Octet for Strings, Op. 20.

A co-presentation with Music For Food.

Suggested donation at the door is $30/$10 students and seniors. No ticket required.
