In the community

Each season Concert Artists Guild artists are engaged in over 450 outreach and education events in communities throughout the US, for audiences of all ages. Our musicians lead masterclasses, teach students, give performances for senior citizens, and work with partner organizations.

Music for Autism

CAG is proud to partner with Music for Autism, which presents CAG artists in autism-friendly, interactive concerts developed specifically for individuals with autism and their families. Artists engage in these activities in New York City, and now in virtual formats as well!

Virtual Student Programming

CAG sponsors student programs created by roster artists. Most recently the Aizuri Quartet created AizuriKids, a virtual student program that guides children through the sounds and instruments of the string quartet. This program was inspired by Covid-19 as a way for parents at home to have in-house music activities.

Community and University Residencies

Our roster artists are active in long-term educational residencies across the country. These include meaningful workshops and concerts in nursing homes, libraries, and elementary through high schools. Our artists are also very active in university settings giving master classes, composition readings, chamber music coachings and more.

CAG roster artists often culminate their time at CAG in taking post at teaching at a university. Our artists and alumni hold positions at top conservatories and music schools world-wide including Oberlin, Curtis Institute of Music, Juilliard, Arizona State University and many others.
