The New York Youth Symphony presents a program highlighting music’s power to express emotions. The solo cello in Elgar's Cello Concerto sings soaring melodies, played by Joshua Roman and supported by the grandeur of the orchestra. Dvořák's Symphony No. 7 takes the audience on a dramatic journey ranging from serene lyricism to unbridled fervor.
