Tonight, hear the legendary American Composers Orchestra and conductor Kedrick Armstrong premiere five new works by exciting American composers, joined by electric violinists Daniel Bernard Roumain and Tracy Silverman, Dan Bau player Vân-Ánh Võ, and clarinetist Andrzej Ciepliński. These new works explore the ways in which music is designed to bring people together in specific settings, from memorials and weddings to town halls and street dances.
