Cerus Quartet

The Cerus Quartet has emerged as one of the most compelling chamber ensembles of their generation. They were recently awarded the Gold Medal at the 2025 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, First Prize at the 2024 MTNA National Chamber Music Competition, and First Prize along with the Michigan Prize at the 2023 Briggs Chamber Music Competition. Hailing from the Midwest, the quartet is known for its versatility, performing a wide-ranging repertoire that includes contemporary works, transcriptions of classical masterworks, and new commissions by composers such as Jennifer Higdon, Joey Karz, Ryan Lindveit, and Karalyn Schubring, and Joey Karz. Additionally, the Cerus Quartet received the inaugural Bohemians Artist Residency and the Robert A. Levinson and Patricia S. Levinson Arts Achievement Award, administered by The New York Community Trust.
