The major prize winner at the 2022 Sibelius and Singapore International Violin Competitions, and the youngest ever to win the Windsor Festival Competition and to receive the Salon de Virtuosi Career Grant, violinist Nathan Meltzer is establishing a holistic and multifaceted career as a soloist and chamber musician, with passion for both standard and contemporary repertoire. Nathan has performed as a soloist with numerous major orchestras, including the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France, the Royal Northern Sinfonia, the Finnish RSO, the Helsinki Philharmonic, and the Aalborg, Berlin, Charlotte, Concepción, Evansville, Indianapolis, Medellín, and Pittsburgh Orchestras.

Eleanor Alberga: The String Quartet Cycle
With the World Premiere of Piano Quintet No. 2, “Stark”

The Green Room Ensemble (Nathan Meltzer, Co-Founder and Artistic Director) is thrilled to present the U.S. Premiere performance cycle of Eleanor Alberga’s Three String Quartets, along with the World Premiere of her Second Piano Quintet with the composer herself at the piano. The Ensemble and Ms. Alberga will also be available for a range of community engagement events, including pre-concert talks and workshops with local conservatories or universities.
