VIOLINIST

Violinist Joshua Brown has been praised by audiences and critics worldwide for his “richness of sound, elegance of reading...commitment of every moment at the service of the work...” (La Libre). Joshua was awarded a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant, and gained international attention after winning the 2nd Prize and both Audience Awards at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels.

COMPOSER

Oswald Huỳnh is a Vietnamese American composer whose music navigates aesthetics and tradition, language and translation, and the relationship between heritage and identity. Huỳnh’s work is characterized by intricate contrasts of timbre and interweaving textures that are rooted in narrative, culture, and memory. Laureate of the 2025 Frederic A Juilliard | Walter Damrosch Rome Prize in Musical Composition, Huỳnh served as Composer-in-Residence with the Louisville Orchestra (2024/25) and Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra (2023–2025).

PIANO

Celebrated for his warm stage presence, compelling musical personality, and cutting-edge programming, Canadian pianist Carter Johnson is known for making classical music speak to all kinds of audiences. With playing described as ”sincere, communicative, and intelligent”, “drop-dead gorgeous”, and even “the greatest thing since sliced bread” (Gramophone), Johnson’s competition laurels include being a finalist in the 2025 Van Cliburn International Competition (the first Canadian in history to do so), the silver laureate of the 2025 Honens International Competition, the first prize winner of the 2025 Dublin International Competition, and the silver medalist in the 2024 Gina Bachauer International Competition.

Grand Prize winner of the 2025 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, the Katarina String Quartet has quickly distinguished itself as one of North America’s most compelling young ensembles. The tightly-knit ensemble currently serves as the Graduate Resident String Quartet at The Juilliard School, where they explore all chamber music, from contemporary and canonized works to folk tunes. Known for their personable concert presentations and community leadership, they regularly perform in community centers around New York City as recipients of Juilliard’s Gluck Fellowship.

CONDUCTOR

Two-time recipient of the Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Award (2024, 2025) and a recipient of Concert Artists Guild’s Richard S. Weinert Award, Andrew Jinhong Kim is a conductor dedicated to joyful collaboration. Andrew is The Marica and Jan Vilcek Music Director of the GRAMMY-winning New York Youth Symphony, and, starting in Fall 2025, the new Director of Berkshire Symphony and Artist-in-Residence in Orchestral and Instrumental Activities at Williams College.

GUITAR

Samrat Majumder is a Scottish-Indian classical guitarist who was announced as the inaugural Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) 40th Anniversary Artist at the YCAT International Final Auditions at Wigmore Hall, also becoming a joint YCAT-CAG Artist for 2025. A prolific prize winner, Samrat has won first prizes at Concours International de Guitare d’Antony (inc. Audience prize) in 2025 and at Deutscher Guitarrenpreis, the International Martinez Guitar Competition Iserlohn and LIGITA International Guitar Competition in Lichtenstein in 2024.
